A shirtless foreigner was found dead on the upper pool deck of a luxury Jomtien hotel. He had fallen from a great height from the building, and was wearing only boxer shorts. His left wrist had a tattoo of a cartoon wolf. Police recovered only his cellphone at the scene.
PATTAYA – February 20, 2013 [PDN]: At 7:30 a.m., a report of a man killed after falling from a Jomtien hotel was received by Pol. Maj. Capt. Nakornrat Nonseerat, the detective officer of the shift of Pattaya police station, sub-branch Dongtarl. He went to check the scene with the rescuers from Sawangboriboon Thammasatharn foundation Pattaya.
The 5-star, 38-story hotel is located on soi Jomtien 14. At the 5th floor swimming pool deck, police found the body of the victim, his nationality and name unknown. He appeared to be in his late 50s, and his left wrist had a tattoo of a cartoon wolf.
The man appeared to have fallen from a great height. His body was like jelly and brain fragments had scattered on the ground. Police recovered his cellphone at the scene, which they kept for evidence.
The hotel security guard told police he had heard the sound of something big hitting the ground during the night. But when he walked around to check, he did not see anything. However, he discovered the man’s body in the morning and called the police.
Police recorded all the witness testimonies, and asked the hotel staff check their guest records to check for the identity and personal information about the victim. The man’s body was sent to Banglamung hospital to perform an autopsy. Police will inform the embassy when they learn his identity.

No entiendo una cosa, cuando un extranjero identificado muere, publican su nombre y fotos del cadaver hasta la saciedad, en cambio, cuando no saben quien es, ocultan su cara.... no deberia ser al reves? Al menos, si alguien que le conoce ve la foto, podra dar cuenta de la identidad del fallecido.
Es que éste, según dice la nota de prensa, ya no debía tener ni cara ni cabeza, bueno, cabeza si pero a cachos desperdigados.
Pero esto de que va? Se caen o les tiran?
Esto pasa en todos lados o es particular de tailandia?
A lo mejor se tiró cuando se dio cuenta que no era Ploy que en realidad se llamaba Manolo.
